Rental Vacancies – January 2012
The rental vacancies in Brisbane remain at a healthy level with a slight decrease from January 2011, 1.9% to 1.8%. Another vote of confidence for our market.
Rental yields are one of the solid foundations underpinning prices and in a tight rental market the pressure for rents to rise at least in line with inflation are present. Apart from Melbourne which is clearly a market to be wary of the total Australian market appears to be doing just fine.
